Service Description

Focus: Manners, Social emotional skills, communication Good manners do more than impress people. They also express gratitude and promote healthy and harmonious interactions. Helping children learn these social skills is important because kids who feel grateful and treat others well are more empathetic, get along better with peers and adults and feel more satisfied with life than those who don't. Since manners are best taught through example, mealtimes provide many opportunities. Note* Because manners are abstract ideas, including simple sign language can make the concepts more concrete for young children. Additionally, increasing a child's mealtime vocabulary reduces frustrations by enabling him or her to be more precise in expressing likes and dislikes -resulting in better mealtimes for the whole family! 50 minute class includes- > Instruction of 15 signs ex: 'please', 'thank you', 'lunch', 'juice', and many more! > Two vocabulary songs for singing and signing > Fun language and literacy art/craft activity > Enhanced social emotional skills and safe interaction with other babies/toddlers **Class adheres to health and safety guidelines. ***Handwashing upon arrival and masks for adults required.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations made 48 hrs before the start of a workshop or series of classes will receive a full refund. Please allow 7 - 10 days to process. If cancellations are made less than 48 hrs prior to start of class or workshop, a credit will be given. Credit good for the same service and can be used at any future class/workshop. Date/location to be agreed upon by customer and instructor.
